Rise Against Hunger Africa in Action
Rise Against Hunger Africa is proudly South African, committed to creating lasting change across the country. As a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO), we are 100% B-BBEE compliant and hold tax exemption status, enabling us to issue Section 18A certificates for qualifying donations.
Our work reaches communities in eight provinces through our branches in Johannesburg (Head Office), Cape Town, and Durban. We drive impact primarily through our ECD Connect programme, ensuring young children have access to the nutrition they need to grow and thrive. In addition to this flagship initiative, we support other nutrition programmes nationwide, and dedicate approximately 10% of our efforts to disaster response when communities face emergencies.
All funds donated to Rise Against Hunger Africa remain within South Africa—fueling local programmes and making a real difference in the lives of South Africans.
